"Too many quirks"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.3.0506
Pros
It will join files and accept most every format.
Cons
Adds ugly motion artifacts to MP4 video files, even in "Superb" mode.
Frequent audio sync issuesSummary
Ok for non critical file joining. I've been able to get past the audio sync issues by experimenting with the onboard decode engines. Overall though, there are too many compromises in the conversion.

"Works great but sloooooow"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.3.0309
Pros
Does what I need, no bells & whistles, just join multiple files.
Cons
It is excruciatingly sloooooow; took me about 3 hours to join 2 190mb files.
Summary
Using this util will be plan B, will be looking for another files joiner.

"Free version stinks"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.2.1123
Pros
ease of use
Cons
cut a WHOLE HOUR out of video file i was joining. what is the point of using it to join something if it clips out an hour of the source?

"Quality Software"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.2.1123
Pros
Efficient Encoding Management. Conversion and joining procedures work very well.
Cons
Integration of music file conversion (like mp3) would have been better.
Summary
I recommend this product.

"The program works very well."
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.2.1123
Pros

Cons
Will not convert downloaded (windows media center wtv) programs.

"Great when setting are set to superb"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.2.0411
Pros
Easy as can be. Great Quality (at Superb setting) and rather fast too.
Cons
none than I have encountered or expect to.
Summary
If you need a video joiner, just get this one and don't bother trying many of the others. I have and they have not the quality production of this one.

"Works perfectly"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 6.1.0110
Pros
I only use it to join MP4/h264 clips (Sanyo) and it works perfectly.
Cons
Nothing bad as far as I am concerned.

"Stutters between concatenations!"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 5.6.0416
Pros
The user interface is beautiful, simple, and to the point. It even allows you to drag .VOB files from DVD (assuming it's not encrypted I imagine) and .FLV files (Flash Video format).
Cons
It does not mention that it will only encode HALF of each video during trial until later. IT STUTTERS FOR 1 SECOND between joines I joined VOB and FLV files twice : all files were from the same source, so no differences in frame rate, quality, etc.)
Summary
While this could potentially be a good software, stuttering between concatenations just makes this product completely useless.

"The one and only"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 5.6.0416
Pros
The only software (after weeks of searching and downloading trial versions), which will join video clips from a Sanyo Xacti, HD, MP4, h.264, 1920 x1080i, 60fps without any loss in quality. The use is dead simple.
All settings used: "Same as Source"Cons
Thre are no cons, not even the price.
Summary
NO other software shown on cnet can do this! and I tried them all. The TV used is a Samsung 46" LED-HD, no pixelating at all, teh data stream is 19513Kbps. PAL, but sure it will work in NTSC just the same.

"Crippled trial version"
Version: Ultra Video Joiner 5.6.0416
Pros
It came with uninstall.
Cons
Publishers description doesn't mention this is a crippled trial version that only converts half of your file. I don't have a problem with this type of software if I know in advance and can bypass it.
