This excellent pop-up blocker wins our praise for its extensive features and reliable performance. Like many programs of this kind, Ultra Ad Killer sits in your system tray and allows access to its settings via a right click. As soon as we saw the tabbed interface, we realized this application is not just another pop-up blocker, although it has all the tools we usually expect, including a whitelist, a blacklist, a log, and both visual and audio notifications. However, it was this app's extra features that really made us take notice. Ultra Ad Killer can protect your online privacy by deleting the surfing history, cached files, and typed URLs, and it can clean out Windows system areas such as the Run menu and the Recycle Bin. We like that the tool lets you view pictures of cached files, and the cookie manager was yet another plus. After testing Ultra Ad Killer, it's clear that the program hasn't lost sight of its main job, as it did a fine job with regular and floating pop-ups, banners, and Flash ads. If you like, you can even block JavaScripts, JPEGs, and ActiveX components from loading. All told, this program is a fine Web-surfing partner that would make a nice pick for just about anyone.Publisher's description

Version: Ultra Ad Killer 1.31
"Execellent! But somewhat outdated."
Pros: AD Killer is great. Small and fast.
Cons: When used with IE7, you'll need none of its features except Web AD Blocker. So you must take your time and configure it.

Version: Ultra Ad Killer 1.31
Pros: I like everything about ultra ad blocker. it block almost any popup and adds. Small amount of memory usage. Easy to use. Easy to configure. Hope it will improve better in next version.
Cons: The Web dialog blocker seems not working. and also the "load flash" link. I'm using the version 1.31

Version: Ultra Ad Killer 1.31
Pros: It blocked popups very well. Too well.
Cons: This software blocked every single popup: popup ads, legitimate popups on pages I was browsing, and even my "save as" type popups in my normal applications (Photoshop and Illustrator). It did not block any ads at all. I also found it impossible to turn off. As soon as I browsed a web page, the program started up again. I promptly uninstalled it, but since I could not close the program, the actual .exe file would not uninstall, and I had to manually find and delete it from my hard drive. Very disappointing.
