Pros: Cool interface, great idea if it worked properly.
Cons: I got the trial of this program because everybody keeps on saying how great it works. On the first analyze it said my degree of fragmentation was 25%...so ok i ran the auto defrag...now its 50%..what the hell. I have tried every single possible option configuration to try and get this to work, no luck. all my other defrag programs say the disk doesn't need defragmenting, but it still shows 50% on this with apparently no way to bring it down...waste of time.

Pros: It has all the features a computer nerd loves. It is completely customizable, fast at doing it's job, and with the proper configuration, it gives your drive the fastest performance possible. The key is to configure it to sort all the directories and files on your hard drive by Name/Alphabetically, and to store unused files/directories such as Windows Update UNinstallers, and archive files, and games you aren't currently playing, to the end of the drive volume so it doesn't detriment the performance of accessing the data you use often.
Cons: It would be better if you could set the "archive" files that you configure, to be moved to right after the rest of your data, before the free space, instead of at the end of the volume

Shows each block and which/what files are in the block!Cons: Not that I can think of.

"Well presented and user friendly."
Pros: Easy access to options. Plenty of information on tasks undertaken.
Cons: Length of time taken to drfrag large drives (several days)
Summary: I have been using the product since inception. There is still alot I need to learn about it, but the bottom lines is that it keeps my system functional and the difference in performance is noticeable. read more

Pros: Unbelievable! Really good software. You'll want to buy this software (I did), so get this 14 day free trial version rather than the totally free version to test it. That will save you uninstalling the free one. Small footprint.
Cons: To get the very best optimization, file placement and HDD speed requires some reading of their PDF instructions. Even a novice user can skip the PDF and get huge improvements in hard disk performance, but the manual is a great HDD primer for novices.
Summary: First, I'm starting to wonder if a competitor of Ultimate Defrag wrote all the other reviews before this one.
