I tried this on AOL as well as with IE. I went to a site that is loaded with pop ups and guess what? I was bombarded with pop ups just like I was before trying this software!!!!!!!

Do NOT download this program. The popup killing is a front to allow them to reset your homepage. The could be collecting more information about you as well. It took me a while to figure out what was changing my homepage to searchby.net, but this is it, and I'm searching for a new killer.

Summary
Blocks windows popups good and bad. Had to disable it (right click on tray bar) to set CNN issues and write this review. Tried the ulimate test on XXX sites. Worked Perfectly. Did this without seemingly going through a server like Ad Stract. I can live with the home page since it has Google and AltaVista search links.

Summary
This program will set your homepage to www.searchby.net. If you change it back in the ie options and reboot it will become your homepage again. I couldn't find a fix in the registry. Uninstalled and now I can keep my own homepage. There is nothing special about this program. It's annoying and there is better out there.

I don't understand the other reviews at all. This is the THIRD program I have downloaded in the last hour. Each one had great reviews and said that it kills all the pop-ups. Everytime I installed, I'd reset the computer (if needed) and open the program (if it didnt open on startup). I'd go to my own website which has banners, then to another site I go to (stopped because of the pop-ups) and BOTH sites had pop-ups. All of the pops I always receive. It's rediculous that a program would get such a great review... most likely by the creators.

I have tried a few others using ie6, but this one works. Only "problems", resets the homepage (easily fixed), and I had to disable the program (right click of the mouse) to use the "you rate this title" at Download.com.
Overall, great program, easy to use. You'll love it. (Goodbye X10 and Orbitz) -
