"BAD...Don't Download"

I finally got the affending file off my computer. It was almost impossible to remove this software from computer.
Cons
Buggy, Corrupt!!!
Couldn't close program after using -- kept getting pop-up message saying access denied.
Minimize the program and went to add & remove files. After removing files, got message that it couldn't remove all files.
Tried to go directly to folder to delete file, and it said access denied because program is currently being used. Yes, it's still open, can't close it.
Turn off computer to try to get software to shut down. After rebooting, the program is still open...it won't close. Keep getting access denied.
Finally, decided to do a system restore, which finally worked and got the offending & crude program off my computer.
Moral of the story is to deal with name brands you trust!!!!!Summary

I've used this little program for a number of years. It works well at touching up graphics (though limited). I like it's small size, and it works well for me. Nothing fancy, just the basics.
Cons
As stated above-nothing fancy, just the basics.

Pros
One of the things I really like about this program is that you can rotate any image, or even just a part of an image 360 degrees without losing the quality of whatever you rotated. This program supports transparency in GIFs, a few filters(such as Embossing), Alpha [selection] support (the "Magic Wand" tool is useful here, hold mouse button down on "rectangle select" to find it.), and all this among other things. It is all around better than the MS Paint that comes with windows, if you give it a chance and take a second to read the help file that comes with it.
Cons
The user interface isn't what you might call "simple" and maybe a little weird. It isn't like you have one main window--you can have (sometimes by mistake) several image editing windows, along with the program window open at the same time, cluttering up your desktop. It get's a little confusing in that case. Unfortunately, this is somewhat common with some Paint programs so it's just something you might just have to get used to (along with learning what buttons do what) It's not something you're going to figure out in its entirety in one day, unless you've got plenty of time :P .

This program has a lot of user control available. Each tool seems to have a lot of variations. The Symmetry function is kind of neat, but I'm not sure it's all that practical.
Cons
First, it shutdown on me twice while I was trying to modify a bmp file. Second, it's so flexible the user interface is confusing and counterintuitive. This program requires a lot of practice to use effectivley. It is certainly not for someone who wants to some quick clean up of graphics or to just change colors. I've uninstalled and am in search of something simpler, and more stable.

I use this program to design pictures and graphics for my web page (jonasmmp.50megs.com). Has some nice tools and some really nice effects you can add. Alright program but not the best....
Cons
Can be a pain to move around and postion words and graphics and it lacks some tools that other programs have.
