Pros
I owned the prior version (Version 10), and was fairly happy with it. It did what it was supposed to.
Cons
Seems that (as least with the trial version) it won't load QuickTime MOV files. I know this functionality worked in the prior version. So I am guessing stupidly they decided to disable this in the trial version and not tell anyone, or worse just broke something.
Also, more generally, the UI is good, but could be much better.

I like this software co'z it can recognize my VHS Player.
I use it to convert VHS Tapes to Digital Format for back up purposes. it works fine for me

i admit it crashes sometimes but not that often... it will still get the job done

Pros
When I first used the software it was unbearably slow. I then loaded the latest driver for my graphics card (Geforce 7900GS Vista 64Bit driver) which fixed the speed problem of videostudio. Given that MS Movie maker is free, I would like to see even more features in videostudio. As it is I will buy it as it is far better than MS moviemaker.

Pros
Good user interface, accepts Dolby audio, was doing the video capture I needed it to do.
Cons
After 5 days of using the 30-day free trial, it suddenly would no longer start. Two tries at reinstalling 11-Plus did not help, even after completely removing all Ulead keys from the registry. Corel support is only by FAQs on their web page, which omit this problem. Email support is mentioned on their website, but only returns to the same FAQs - a form of Internet fraud and misrepresentation. Thankfully this was discovered BEFORE paying for this software. If Corel's software and business ethics failures are corrected, I might try this software again - for the full 30 days - before buying. Another reviewer reinstalled XP SP2 for this, but I cannot accept having to do things like that for defective software.

When it works, it works ok.
Cons
Unable to control sound volume input, slider was greyed out. Would not allow me to edit .dvr-ms files, an advertised feature and one of the main reasons I upgraded to 11. Many emails and finally two telephone calls got absolutely no response. They promised to research my problems and call back but did not.
