"Too early for buying the program, better wait for an update"
Version: Ulead PhotoImpact 11
Pros
Program rich in features and not so expensive as other programs
Cons
My system is based on Turion64 +1 Gb Ram+ 80 Gb hard disk + Windows Sp2. Nevertheless
the program has many problems and does not work as it should, the most importants beeing a great instabilty and a tendence to lock. I advice to go to the Ulead's site and visit the " Web Forum" before buying.

"No Support"
Version: Ulead PhotoImpact 11
Pros
None
Cons
I downloaded the trial program. Looked good. I went to create a banner and kept getting the error "Can not get URL from push file" No big deal, errors can be fixed.....that is if you can find a fix and get support to find a fix. I searched the help file...nothing. I searched the online knowledge base, nothing. Next, let me try tech support .. no support unless you buy first ... ok, let me try customer service .. no response. Why would one want to buy from a company that will not support their customer? How are you supoose to evaluate a product when it does not work? If tech support is important to you, recommend not buying.

"Ulead Steps up and and hits a home run"
Version: Ulead PhotoImpact 11
Pros
Excellent Stability, Powerful tools, versatile and user friendly - PhotoImpact 10 was riddled with user problems and I made mention that ULead needs to listen to when the engineering team says "its ready" before going to market and PhotoImpact 11 is what version 10 should have been. So in this way of looking at perfection, I am pleased to say that PhotoImpact 11 is a winner. The best price for the versatility and performance and no nagging issues on any of the machines I use. Oh what a relief!..The interface is intuitive, I guess its cool to use different user modes rather then pack every tool on one screen. Like Kool Moves, there are different User level screens, all customizable so there is less redundancy. The advanced interface is beautiful, and the graphics resolution is better and better. Congratualtions Users, fans and Ulead. You can do anything with this program. There are alot of shortcuts and tool effect variations and as user intuitive as it is if you read the manual it will open up all the fast jumps and douuble your rendering power. How good, my partners lady friend is a web site designer and when she took a look at the textures and deptchs of my new projects she was amazed. Most of the rendering is by way of PhotoImpact 11. PhotoImpact 11 is one of the best cross editing solutions as it is compatible. you can somewhat manage PSD files as well.
Cons
needs more plug-ins to approach PhotoShop Bottom Line, A good example is Xara's new Extreme. The plug ins are great and with Uleads friendliness, if the plug-ins from Alien Skin and other companies were more plentiful, the only major difference between PI11, PhotoShop, Xara and Corel would be in the vector and bit resoltuion technology. No single application can do it all.

"Best Photo Editing for the Price"
Version: Ulead PhotoImpact 11
Pros
Easy to use, has all the features you need for basic and advanced photo editing. I find that I prefer using it over PhotoShop for normal processing of my photographs.
Cons
Changes from 10 to 11 were a little confusing at first tools changed to different locations. Documentation could be better. Lacks high end capabilities of PhotoShop
