Version: Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 Plus
"Very Buggy - Caution - Neat Options Tho..."
Pros: Good easy to use interface, and straight-forward design. Preview option comes in very handy. Trial good instead of watermark, no limits on demo version.
Cons: Had trouble figuring out what kind of CD I had in the drive. Also locked up whenever I tried to burn the final project. When saving the project I was on it didn't save all the changes, and sometimes when re-opened would be completely different than what I had saved. Also put some wierd black blocks over the menu text. ... . ... I did not buy this product.

"Good Software with user-friendly graphical interface & preview"
Pros: Very good. Trial No watermark with full funtionality. Easy to use. No problem retrieving the saved project.

"It doesn't work with AVCHD format. Free SE version does"
Pros: Cannot try because of video format
Cons: If you have to deal with new AVCHD format simply it doesn't work.
Summary: It is very frustrating. MovieFactory SE version seems OK with AVCHD format but, of course, it hasn't all the features of version 6 Plus.
I wander why Corel didn't consider the new AVCHD format in its top product. read more
