    "East test, works in XP"

    Pros

    Easy to install and use, somewhat intuitive.

    Cons

    Takes a long time, about 15 min for 1.8G flash drive. Can't tell how many retries being done or what patterns tested. It would be nice if this info was provided.

    One other thing it needs is to show whether or not bad sectors are marked bad and unused; my drive didn't fail, so I didn't get to see if it reports this. It may depend on the USB controller & FW.
