Simple to use, intense but not excruciating exercises... I'm learning really quickly to type! You can choose what pace you want to go at too, by choosing how long each part should take.

This is a great program to improve your wpm for tests. It's straight typing, no frills. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, but for someone who knows the basics (hand position, etc.), it is very useful. There are 20 pieces preloaded, and many more that can be added from the files. I worked up to a steady 55+ wpm in a few days, which in a testing situation translated to 50 wpm, enough for most jobs. There are also some simple games which don't increase your speed but are good for warm-ups. You can print a certificate at the end of each test if you wish.
Cons
The pieces are listed alphabetically; I would find it more useful if they were listed by difficulty level so one could progress in a more systematic way. The add-ins, which seem to be letter combinations (I only opened a couple), are listed numerically rather than by description, so you can't tell what it is until you open it.
