I like how it does a pretty decent job of helping you learn how to type. It's easy to use and I like how it has the ability to show you your problem areas.
Cons
Although TypingMaster is a good typing tutorial software, TypingWeb.com is free and does about the same job, if not better.

My two sons (than age 11 and 12) learnes 10 fingers typing in 3 weeks by every day typing for 10 minutes. My daughter did it in 3 months, by once a week typing. It works great. Worth every penny.

They are all the same made by TypingMaser.Inc. Except TypingMaster Pro does not have the SpeedSkin No Peek Cover which is very helpful. If you order from TypingMaster Pro there is no discount. -

I was able to learn just as I did in high school. It stays true to the methods use to teach typing or keyboarding as it is called today.
Cons
Not enough lessons to get you far enough to use all the rows of keys.
Summary
By downloading it I was able to pass a typing test to get a new position with my company.
