the execution. Adium crashed many times and never did it manage to log on to the twitter server. Judging from a quick Google search, I'm not alone. This product is not ready for release (hence the 0.2.1a version number I'm sure)

Don;t waste your time. Wait for a full release or wait for Adium to do it themselves.

Pros
Since Twitter's IM service went down a while ago, I haven't been that active. This brings back my favorite way to use Twitter. I'm instantly notified when my feed is updated.
Cons
I'm getting my own tweets sent back to me. I already know what I just said.
Summary
This is the best way to use Twitter. I use Adium as my exclusive chat client, so it's nice to be able to streamline Twitter with my other IM services.
