"Great way to follow your twitter account"
Pros: - Not dependent on your browser
- Easy to useCons: No way that I've found to turn off the audible alert.

"Very capable tweet organizer, and fairly customizable."
Pros: Easy to create and edit custom groups, integrate with facebook and other handy sites, such as tinyurl and twitpic. Also able to lessen the overload by only showing updates since last start of the program. Even translates other language tweets!
Cons: Sometimes awkward layout configuration and options/integration. Notifications glitchy and didn't change after I updated my configurations. Doesn't run in the background; will take up a spot on your taskbar (Windows).
Summary: Excellent way to organize, filter, translate, and integrate all your following. Minor complaints shouldn't deter anyone from getting a lot of use. Warning: will keep you entertained surfing your friends and the 'net all day! read more

"Easier to use than Twitter's site!"
Pros: - Can do pretty anything you need to do (i.e. reply, view user profile, unfollow, block, RT, etc.) from one spot
- Does not require browser to be open
- Up to 4 columns of your choice
- Can also view Facebook updates
- Customizable! (Colors, etc.)Cons: Just one: when it's about to show me a new alert. It's like someone shouts, "Incoming!" and everything pauses for a moment until the alert shows. This is infrequent at worst, and the program is progressing. Looking forward to automatic updates, too.
Summary: I highly recommend TweetDeck. You'll enjoy only having to pull up ONE box to view new tweets, DMs, @replies, 12 seconds, and/or Facebook alerts & more. I customized the colors on mine to match my Windows theme! :) I appreciate being able to mark ... read more
