"Excellent program, here's some more"
Pros: I have done alot of online reasearch and reading about all of the programs I will list, if you are like me and dislike bullcrap and lies, as well as paranoid about putting any crap on your computer, and like to keep your computer running fast and not bloated, I recommend the following programs for anyone to use, and they are free, so pls do not forget to donate a small amount to each, to keep up the development......SPYBOT S&D, ADAWARE SE PERSONAL, MICROSOFT ANTI-SPYWARE, SPYWARE BLASTER, THE GIMP IMAGE EDITOR( simply download and install gtk runtime first), SPYWARE DOCTOR( must update yourself, but other than that a good scanner and remover in the free version), MOZILLA FIREFOX(secure browser) EPROMPTER EMAIL ORGANIZER( for multiple email account organization) TRILLIAN INSTANT MESSAGE & CHAT CLIENT (all in one chat accross all popular chat networks) TWEAK NOW REGISTRY CLEANER( another free registry cleaner and reduce bloated registry and errors in registry) HANDY BITS EASYCRYPTO ENCRYPTION PROGRAM(not availible on download.com, so just do a search for it....very secure and easy way to keep private files private....and free for personal use) one program(s) I did purchase was the EXTENDIA SECURITY SUITE AND ANTIVIRUS PRO which is an antivirus program that comes with 8 other security programs like a firewall, anti-ad and spam filter...etc, for only 39.99$, and if you go online and reasearch Extendia AV, you will see that it uses Kaspersky's engine and the RAV engine at the same time, and in tests, performed better than 99% of all the other antivirus programs, at a fraction of the price.....they even use microsoft and kaspersky technology combined in a dual engine scan and monitor.....I had Norton, and my RAM use at start up was 230MB, after uninstalling Norton and Buying EXTENDIA, my RAM usage dropped to 175MB.

If anyone found these comments usefull, and has a suggestion for me, pls email me......steverope@hotmail.com have a great online experience, and I hope some of these recommendations have helped, I have nothing to gain here, just want to shut down the spyware makers and virus writers, to make the internet secure and fun, as well as functional, without having to worry about having major problems......The Gimp image editor is really good open source program, almost as good as Photoshop.....don't pay attention to the people who say that the install is hard, just download GTK runtime first, install it, then download and install the Gimp....it's that simple. One more good program is OPEN OFFICE a good business and word program, you can even import your microsoft office documents and edit them with open office(cross compatible) Any thing I missed which is good, pls let me know, steverope@hotmail.com regards, deebles
