TurboWeb is an minimalist web browser designed with one thing in mind - speed!Based on Webkit (the core of the Safari and Chrome browsers), instead of unloading browsed pages as you navigate, TurboWeb stores a buffer of many WebBrowser objects in memory. This allows you to return to a previously viewed page instantaneously without having to wait for it to reload. This simple optimisation makes a huge difference to your browsing experience. URL's (starting with http://) or search items can be entered into the search field. For search terms, select the stite you wish to search on the popup list at the right hand side. Use command-left and command-right arrow keys to navigate between pages or the usual touchpad swipe gestures. With "TurboWeb Lookup" service enabled you can select text in any application and search for it by typing command-@.Other features include:* History and Bookmarks are HTML pages themselves containing an (optional) snapshot of the page when it was last viewed as you hover the mouse over it.* The Bookmarks page is WSYWIG editable in order to be able to "arrange" them and can set to be your home page. Use "Save Changes" menu item to make the changes permanent.* TurboWeb now supports any number of open tabs and windows. * Zoom into a page using pinch gestures or the slider at the top right.* Page by Page control over whether Flash content is displayed.* Page by Page control over whether cookies are being stored.TurboWeb may not quite be the most richly featured browser but from the look of the reviews it may just be the fastest!
