"Does What it says. Optimizes Well"
Pros: -Registry Cleaner, RegEdit (with search), Defrag, Speed Optimizer, and much much more.
-All the components ran very well and the latest update fixed a weird issue that clicking the Fix button on the Health section did absolutely nothing.Cons: -Its only a 30 day trial but thats still really good since you install it, optimize it, then uninstall if (or buy it) and most of your optimizations stay.
-Occasionally hogs RAM.Summary: TuneUp Utilities does a LOT to optimize your computer. The Speed Optimizer is excellent. It personalizes optimizations to fit your internet connection and computer.While it does have a lot of utilities, many of these are enhanced (and much more RAM/C... read more

"Don't go anywhere near this bag of ess aitch one tee ee"
Pros: It has a restore feature to undo the damage it has created.
Cons: No noticable improvement in PC performance was gained in exchange for the pain it caused.
Customer support is dire.Summary: After running this programme I found that I could no longer access my browser. It was still present but somehow the access permissions had been changed. 2 calls to the "English speaking" helpline (based in Germany) were greeted with a short message... read more

Version: TuneUp Utilities 8.0.3100
Pros: Easy to use, improves system performance in a significant way. After I ran it, my system booted up much faster and had fewer nagging performance hiccups.
Cons: It costs money if you want to use it after 30 days. But you can always install it, optimize your system and then uninstall it without paying. There are probably some worthwhile continuing optimizations you'll lose out on though.
Summary: There are lots of optimizations possible on Windows systems. Just google windows services optimisation or something and you'll find lots of sites that will give you information on things you can do to improve your boot time and general responsivenes... read more
