"Be careful running this program"
Pros
Has many tools to scan and defragment registry, fix registry errors, etc.
Cons
Misleading and blatantly false diagnosis of certain tasks, and promotes Firefox, it seems
Summary
I ended up having this program installed which was piggy-backed on the one I originally wanted to install - SIW - System Information for Windows, a nifty diagnostic program which has excellent detailed analysis of your Windows PC. Tune-up installed mysteriously without any warning whatsoever, and also went ahead and updated itself to ver. 2012. Noticed has flaws in checking & fixing registry "errors". Also, it recommends setting the Master Password in Firefox, which I found as surrogate marketing. Also, though I had run the Check-disk utility in Windows just a week ago, this Tune-up program diagnosed that the activity was "Never run" earlier and by default checks all hard drives and prompts user to restart PC and essentially runs the built-in Windows chkdsk utility. Overall, I found CCleaner much better as a freeware, so wouldn't recommend this one.
