    "Excellent product, worth the price."

    October 27, 2009  |   By Treatweasel

    Pros

I've been using TuneUp since about 2003, and have upgraded every year. It's thorough, easy to use, and allows considerable customization. This is one of only a few programs that I would not be without - ever.

    Cons

It would be nice to be able to selectively remove cookies; other than that, I've had absolutely no problems or issues with TuneUp

    Summary

We used Norton Utilities for years, until I downloaded TuneUp. Just to test, I ran Norton without fixing any problems; it found about 60 problems. I then ran TuneUp, which found more than 1300 errors - and fixed them all quickly and easily. I've tried their boot screens, themes, etc., and they've all worked perfectly on XP, and more recently on Vista Premium. I absolutely recommend this program for the average PC user. Lately, my Vista Premium has been crapping out on a fairly regular basis - Windows Explorer keeps locking up. I run TuneUp, and it's fixed instantly . . . until the next time Vista screws up. I hope they come out with a W7 version, because I will be upgrading my systems very soon. Vista sucks . . . TuneUp is GREAT ! !
