"Can be helpful"
Version: TuneUp Media 2.2.0
Pros
Can often surprise, in what it finds.
Cons
Crashes constantly with every update since Lion came out. TuneUp and Zinio on iPad are, for me, the very top two most crashing apps ever.
Summary
Crash, works, crash, crash, works, crash, works, crash.

"Looking to organize your music? Look no further."
Version: TuneUp Media 2.2.0
Pros
I really like the simple interface. You know what you're trying to do when you get TuneUp & it gets the job done. My favorite features are Cover Art & DeDuper. It's also exciting to run Analyze and see what needs to be done to your library. About half of the entire music collection was missing cover art, TuneUp changed that pretty quickly.
Cons
It would have been helpful to have known ahead of time that TuneUp works best when you clean no more then 500 songs at a time (especially when you're using it for the first time). You're anxious to see how it works but then when you drop say 1,000 songs the software doesn't work as fast or efficient as it usually does. Also, finding cover art for compilations has given me a few issues in the past. I have a few compilations from local establishments and TuneUp can't find the cover art for those. Understandable, though.
Summary
For me, it's not something I utilize every day but it's one of those things that is really nice to have when you need it. I go through my itunes about twice a month and fill in the gaps: add missing metadata, remove any duplicates, find album art. I just love having an organized library - and mine wasn't always like that. I noticed how awesome a friends collection looked and she recommend TuneUp so now I'm doing the same.

"Overall, Fantastic At What It Does"
Version: TuneUp Media 2.2.0
Pros
1. Clean feature works as described. Takes mislabeled songs and adds the correct labels to them. Also works with all of the tracks, years, and genres as well...if you're a bit OCD like myself.
2. Album art made my music palatable on my iPad. I wouldn't mess around with my music too much on my iPad, because of all the missing album art...it just looked better on my iPod classic, since the tracks were there, w/o emphasis on the art, but after I used TuneUp, I really enjoy using my iPad as a medium for listening to music, because it's easier than my laptop to carry around the house, but is more fun to select songs from than my regular iPod.
3. Concerts. I love music, and the concerts app is a pretty solid way of keeping up with who is in town, and when. I feel like I'm more up to date with shows than I was before I got it. Honestly, this is my favorite feature in this program.Cons
1. Obscure songs: I have some music that is either obscure/remixed by someone obscure, and TuneUp didn't do too well with updating the information with those songs. That said, I really didn't expect it to, because most of these artists won't show up in any database...so I assumed I would have to do those manually anyway.
2. It can be a bit slow when processing a lot of songs on a large library. I've got 23k songs, and sometimes, though I don't know why, it is slow to start up, and takes 5 minutes to sync with my database. That only happens about 10% of the time, so it's really not a big concern of mine.Summary
Overall, I'd highly recommend this product if you're sick and tired of having a messy library. It is fantastic at what it does, and works just as advertised. Extremely happy with this purchase.
