"The best trojan remover on the net"

by goldengreeke on April 7, 2007

Pros: Hey it's a product of Mischel Internet Security, so you know it's good. You can go to any spyware removal forum and see nothing but great reviews for this product. TrojanHunter 4.6 has it's own forum, great support, daily updates, super fast scan, and removes all trojans. It is the only product I know of that is capable of cleaning process-injecting trojans. It not only scans your memory and registry, it will also scan all open ports. Try the full function 30 day trial. I rate TrojanHunter 4.6 with 5 stars and two thumbs up!

Cons: TrojanHunter 4.6 does such a Thorough job with it's advanced scanning, that some AVs might mistakingly think a virus is trying to get in your system during it's intense scan.

    "Serious false positives and some!"

    by Charles K on April 14, 2008

Pros: Zero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's junk full of false positives, BS about firewall ports and as far as I'm concerned, might as well be listed a rogue.

Cons: First I installed this garbage on three systems. One XP Pro, One Vista Ultimate and the last, Vista Home Premium. On all three it detected supposed trojans that three different Anti-Virus scanners didn't. These Anti-Virus programs are Kaspersky, NOD32 and McAfee. Not only that, it told me about open ports in each systems firewall when I', 100% positive all ports are in stealth.. Keep this junk Mischel Internet Security and keep your cash users.

    "Mischel Internet Security?"

    by Chainmail2006 on August 10, 2007

Pros: Apparently, this London based security company has a good reputation in Europe. That must be where they make their living but this application is to high priced, even for my taste. With the emergence of the top anti virus scanners ability on detecting trojans, this is just not a useful tool in my book. I just can't see shelling out this cash for an application of this type. You can purchase "AntiVir Premium" for thirteen dollars less.. For ten dollars more, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus" and for the same price "NOD32" and "Avast Professional". All of these applications work very good on trojans and will give you a good anti-virus, anti-trojan scanner combined.

Cons: The free trial thats supposed to have no limitations but it will not update. If I can't fully try an application I'm not familiar with, I won't think about purchasing it.

"Well, I have to admit, I was wrong."

by The Sports Fan on January 24, 2008

Pros: Well, I have to admit I was wrong about this program. I installed the free trial and started a full scan. Here I am, thinking I'm good and clean. But I wasn't. This program notified me of 9 open ports in my firewall, found and quickly killed 3 trojans and made me a believer. I'm thinking "***", I need this program so I got a free copy threw "Trial Pay" and it was well worth the minor hassle to get it.

Cons: No matter the comments, the trial "will not update". It will however, scan and kill any trojans on your computer as well as check your firewall ports. The download is worth a go.
