Version: Trojan Killer 1.4.0.2
Pros: Trojan Killer has a very fast scan and scans services, browser helper objects, Active X s, stratup programs, and makes the sound of an owl when the scan has finished.
Cons: The false detection is wthostctl. dll this component is part of Wild Tangent a web driver that is the leading 3D gaming platform. Trojan Killer did not find any malware on my computer.

Pros: In response to above post: None of em pick up either "malware" or "trojans" anymore, despite the false claims.

Pros: its light, small, and good for non tech people.
Cons: lacks updates.
Summary: if you have never used it then its worth a go as it might just suprise you. its a small download and its non intrusive. when you use it for the first time wait until it finishes its scan as half way through it seems to pause for 20-30 sec. when its i... read more
