"Better but not great"
Version: Trillian Astra 4.1.0.24
Pros
Trillian Astra has among the most features available in one program
Cons
I would love to use a video conference feature that would incorporate the other IM programs too. I wish Trillian Astra had the features of yahoo messenger
Summary
I really like Trillian Astra as it seems to offer the most for people who want to include their contacts from all the other IM programs. However functionality is less than some other IM programs..

"Complete and utter garbage"
Version: Trillian Astra 4.1.0.24
Pros
They've spelled all the words correctly...
Cons
Nothing works, HUGE security oversights, unacceptable terms and conditions, spyware, complete LACK of SUPPORT for PAID version.
Summary
I cannot even begin to explain how awful this software is. I have 7th grade students that could design and develop software better than this.
Worst money you'll ever spend... -
"Nice looking, user-friendly, well-integrated."
Version: Trillian Astra 4.1.0.24
Pros
I like the fact that it will connect with several accounts I have.
Cons
Didn't work as well as MSN Messenger but at least it downloaded without error messages - MSN Messenger won't for some reason.
Summary
Didn't dislike it and may go back to it - trying out Yahoo Messenger at the moment!

"Fits all your IM demands!"
Version: Trillian Astra 4.1.0.24
Pros
Flawless control of your choice of IM, if its just 3 or 13. Instant mail notifications including MySpace mail, Web status updates, all this in one window.
Cons
Using the free version you get the ugliest skin.. so it doesn't matter much. but its ugly. Also you have to register a free Astra account, even though I have 0 contacts there.
Summary
I've used Trillian Astra through all the evaluations period and now I'm using the free version. It is absolutly flawless, I get mail notifications from MyS, Gmail, Ymail, Gtalk. I get Web updates from Twit and FB, and I use 8 total IMs no problem.
even working with FB private messages.
I've used an other Multi-IM program, I though it was good (Had lots of trouble with it) but now after Trillian THIS IS what I was looking for!
I've actually logged in Cnet first time for 4-5 years just to rate this 5 stars. Trillian earned it.

"Spectacular"
Version: Trillian Astra 4.1.0.24
Pros
I have all my messengers in one small program. I don't have to worry about having the same version as my buddy to be able to do a file transfer. Cerulean Studios has not lost site of what IM programs are for.Cerulean Studios has only made it better.
Cons
Your friends don't have Trillian and its going to take you months to convert them over. Everything in the program works great but it would be nice to have a web cam function built in.
Summary
This is the last messenger you will ever need. Give it a try I think you will find its well worth it.
