Pros
I first installed Trend Micro three years ago and since that time including all the revisions to Titanium, I have not experienced a single negative issue. In that time I finally relaxed with the issues of the past utilizing other company products that failed to protect the systems being used. I now have the peace of mind that software of this kind should have given me from the very start.
The security is great and is updated automatically with the latest updates upon system boot up even increasing your peace of mind.
I have recommended Trend Micro to business associates as well as close friends without reservation of falling short of proper advisement.
Good things come to those who wait but not to those who wait to late!

Security for Computer, & Email for viruses as well as spam/junk mail. I enjoy all the extra tools included in the application. The security is top notch and easy to get people to understand as well as easily installed and setup. It is very smooth and efficient on the scans and monitoring of the computer and email. I recommend it to all my friends and family. I actually have 3 other families running Trend Micro app's currently and they feel safe with the products.
Cons
I like having the CD for clean installs, and don't enjoy paying the full price in the end product. Otherwise I don't know any cons.

I have purchased several different security softwre packages over thepast 20+ years and believe that Trend Micro has came out with one of the best. I have an Associates Degree in Computer Programming ans I'm Microsoft Certified Professional also. I have spent 12 years working for a major computer manufacturer in their technical support department in a senior level position.

I purchased a Dell Dimension PC in late 2005 with PC-Cillin installed, since then I have changed from multiple machines and have stuck with Trend Micro. I find it very reliable, effecient and user friendly with having no virus or related troubles since 2005. I have dealt with AVG, McAfee and North prior and found then less then steller. Key features I like with Titanium 2012 is schedule updates, scans, operates on multiple systems under the one license key also it don't bog down the system whether its scanning, updating or running in the background. A tremendous program to say the least.
Cons
A little pricey but its definately well worth it.
Summary
Extremely satisfied, have had no issues with it since my first experience and will continue to use Trend Micro as my program as long as its available. Highly recommend this to everyone as I find its trustworthy and well worth the cost.

Product itself is OK, probably even slightly better than those from competitors I've used.

I have purchased this product for the past 2 years and both times I have had HUGE problems getting the rebates I was promised. Last year, I called the rebate company and was told I hadn't completed the paperwork properly. Fortunately, I had kept a copy of everything and faxed them exactly the same paperwork, and (of course) was approved. When I got prepaid card, and tried to use it, I was told it had a 30 day hold! More games! This year, my rebate just disappeared. The rebate company has no record of it. Trend Micro just refers you to the rebate company, they say they have nothing to do with it. So again, it's down to me re-sending everything. They've got to be doing this on purpose. I've never had this level of difficulty with any of their competitors.

Product is OK. But major difficulty (repeatedly!) getting them to pay rebates (and their customer service is terrible...the company is very fragmented...it's hard to figure out in the first place whom to contact...then there's no way for consumers to contact them by e-mail, you have to call...it's weird structure.)

Doesn't seem to slow my pc down.

I bought this online and it was a pain to install. If you have malwarebytes,superantispyware you must uninstall these first before installing trend micro. Would not install with that software on my pc. The install failed and even after removing malwarebytes it would still fail on install. I reformatted my hard drive just to get this to work. After i got it installed though i was able to reinstall malwarebytes and superantispyware just fine.
Summary
A good antivirus and i like it so far. But if you want to install this make sure you have no other security software installed. It will fail on install.

I am a BzzAgent, but I joined this campaign because I've used TrendMicro products for years and Titanium since last year. I use it on 3 of our computers, two of which are used for business.
I've found it to be very easy to use, easy to set up and love the parental controls. I can set times up on my desktop so that my 14 year old daughter doesn't sneak on the computer in the middle of the night! The parental controls also make it easy for less computer literate people(aka most parents!) to use default profiles set up by age groups for children--quick and easy. The parents can always go back in and change the profile to either an older version or customize it, even for older teens.
It also is light on space, doesn't take time to load when you power up and works completely in the background. It doesn't ask you about upgrades, it just downloads the upgrade and the computer is protected. One less worry for me if I haven't been on my desktop by the teen has been--she can't approve updates under her account.
The only problem I've encountered is on my desktop it seems to get stuck every once in awhile, although that hasn't happened for a couple of months and may have been fixed with one of the updates/upgrades. -

I am #Bzzagent and I got to try this product. I am so in love with this software. It has blocked many threats and spyware waiting to kill my laptop. Also by doing its work efficiently Titanium Maximum Security doesn't slow your PC. Overall pretty neat product out in market of anti virus software!

. I find that it's really user friendly and really easy to run a scan. It's simple to use and works great. I like that it runs smoothly and does not slow down my computer. I like that it automatically alerts you about malicious sites and links automatically. I also like that it doesn't have long security scans like some of the software programs that I have used in the past. The installation was very easy to install. It had step by step instructions that were very easy to follow. The setup only took me between 5 and 10 minutes.

I am a bzzagent and I received this product for free to test out and write a review on. I was super excited when I found out that I would get to be a part of the Trend Micro Titanium bzz campaign. It was perfect timing too because my old security software was expiring so I couldn't of been happier. I also knew it would be a good product because we had just bought a new laptop and that was the free security software that was preloaded on the computer. For my not being very high tech this product is very easy to use. I have no complaints here.
