"ONLY BUY THE DISK - no download!"
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
Seems to do a good job, and warns me if a web site is noted for spam or fraud.
Cons
Died when my computer ran out of battery. Would not load no matter what. only thing that saved me (their response was one day late) was I DID have a disk to re-insert and re-install. If I had had the download version, I do not think it would have worked.
Summary
ONLY BUY THE HARD (DISK) VERSION!

"Doesn't Work"
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
People that write viruses hope you have it
Cons
Virus and Trojan programs pawn this software, they slip right through it, and disable it.
Summary
My sister called me up and said somehow somebody was emailing all her friends, using her email address. I asked if she had antivirus, and she said she had been paying for trend micro since she bought her computer. She had upgraded to 2012 Titanium. Her IE was allowing automatic downloads. She had viruses and trojans, and no warnings. It seems some malicious program had turned it off, and was keeping it from coming on at boot. I tried to start it got an error, used a search engine, found many people were getting the same error, the company was advising them to reinstall it. I had the same problem a few years back with another companies paid version, got a bad update that turned my virus software and firewall off, and left the Icon running in the taskbar. They had me remove the update and reinstall it, and reupdate it, and it kept shutting off after that. Talk about a false sense of security, I'd feel safer with almost any other software, free or paid, I usually go paid for a better feeling of added security.
Ummhmmm If it quits working all the sudden, reinstall it, and change your bank account password ?
Humummm If it quits working all the sudden, uninstall it and try another one, and change your bank account password. -

"It scans but pinned my processors"
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
I guess it scans and works to find bad code but it takes all day.
Cons
I have a clean laptop running Windows 7 Pro i5 processor and 4 gigs of ram. Only thing running in my systray are this and Google Talk and GBridge. This software absolutely bogged my machine down. Fans start running high and everything lags.
Summary
HEAVY!!!! If you aren't running a $2,000 laptop or a $1,000 desktop, your computer can't handle this and be used at the same time. I've been a programmer since Craigslist looked up-to-date.

"Couldn't get it to work"
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
Wouldn't know, couldn't get it to install
Cons
It never installed it always stops during the installation process( tried it 20 or more things), telling that an error has occurred but never goes in dept about the errors and how to fix and the website doesn't help at all and couldn't find any help online; if anyone can help or give some advice where to go or how to fix this problem I'm all ear but until then, if ever I can't recommend to anyone. Better off trying something else

"Robust Babe! Yo PC will crave the Need For Speed. 10/10"
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
It does a lot more than you would expect. It has stunning heuristics. Worth the small amount I paid to local reseller, in fact value is so great you would think you ripped them off.
Cons
Versions and updates unconsistant. I bought one software now I am downloading / updating (on my other PC and 2 years later) completely different one. Even name is different.
It is hard on resources.Summary
I am happy that once I needed the protection for business for me and my family I was a proud Trend Micro customer and 5 licences I got for a "good deal" price were absolutely crucial for starter, since no additional purchases were necessary.
Beware:Only real powerbox is able to pull it along-side (while multitasking) anything else. That is for real time protection, which is excellent by the way. -
"Great security for my computer and peace of mind"
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
fast and east set up, quick scanning, minimal surfing interruption.
Cons
None. So far I am pleased with it.
Summary
i received this to try for free as a Buzz Agent. I never have used a paid security software. I read the reviews first then gave it a try. I was impressed! It not only is way better than the free security software I was using but the parental controls where an an added bonus. I can limit what types of websites are visited plus limit the kids' online time. I already try to monitor their time on the computer but you never know what they might accidentally see. I'm impressed with it.

"Not better some free products."
Version: Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012 5.0
Pros
Has no conflicts with Windows 7 and other programs.
Cons
The price is more than at the best programs.Has no firewall (uses Windows).
Summary
The light? I have not noticed it.Installation time same as at the majority of products, andd it's much more than at Norton.Scanning time approximately as at Norton 2012, F-Secure etc. But it is more than at Panda IS 2912.Loading on system is not less than at the majority of programs (including free).
