Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros: Last year i recommended norton for a brilliant package with all the necessary things.
This year pc-cillin comes with a brilliant UI,improved anti-virus and anti-spyware.
Also one of the most notable features are
1.The firewall has comes leaps and bounds ahead from last year.
It blocks leaks,it now has a proactive defense.
2.Now pc-cillin has come with trend-secure and also a web-filter which warns you about suspicious websites from its ever improving database.
This all in one utility is the best i have tested and highly recommended!
Cons: Some people are experiencing high memory usage and many are not.
I will advise you to use it to see if it causes so.

Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros: Now I know you're saying "Oh,hes just one of the people who recommends it cause he uses it." Well, Im not. I have tried AVG,Norton,McAfee,Trend Micro, and Kaspersky. AVG was good but no real time protection. Norton was good up until version 2003. McAfee was a Resource hog. Kaspersky had bad customer support and was a..well bad program. Trend Micro uses little memmory, detects well, and is a great security suite. If you are going to pay for security, Trend Micro should be your choice.
Cons: Now you're thinking " he probably will say there is no cons". Well I wont, because there is.
Now I dont know about you but when im thinking antispam protection, im thinking I have to give me email adress and the server names and things but with their antispam I dont. I just click activate and it works. Im not sure how well it works though because my main mail I dont get spam cause I only give it out to friends but my other mails i get a lot.
Aside from this, there isnt any. Good luck!

Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
"I have to give it 3.5 stars."
Pros: Beleive me, I'd like to rate it higher and some time ago I would have. It's a full featured suite with everything you would expect and more built in. It has a very good, user friendly GUI, solid-anti virus and anti-spyware, anti spam. identity theft protection and it is a a good performer that updates often and automatically. "Trend Micro", unlike "Norton" provides excellent, free tech support no matter where you buy their software from. You can buy it at on line stores cheap and it's fully compatible with "Vista".
Cons: When all the suites modules are being used, it is a heavy resource user. "Trend Micro" had promised to address this issue and haven't done it yet. Maybe they are waiting for the 2008 version to address this problem.

Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros: Just upgraded to the PC-cillin 2006 which now has much more that just antivirus. My last year with with the 2005 version of PC-cillin was uneventful after spending years trying to get rid of viruses etc while using Norton and the rest.

Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
"No computer should be without this program."
Pros: Protects against just about every threat imaginable, from viruses to spyware and phishing. Real-time protection is extremely effective. Strong firewall and Internet Lock to freeze all traffic if your computer is under attack. Unlike the 2006 version, it isn't necessary to launch separate spyware and virus scans to make sure your system is clean. E-mail scanning for both POP and Webmail accounts. ZIP file scanning up to six layers deep (must be enabled manually). Spyware scanning seems much more comprehensive than in PCCIS 2006. Customizable filters to prevent private information from being transmitted, such as credit card or Social Security numbers. I have been using PC-Cillin since Version 2 was released in the early 1990s, and I have NEVER been infected with a virus. I have had a few try to slip through, but they have always been caught before doing any damage. This is extremely reliable protection, and I recommend every computer user to at least give it a try.
Cons: The 2007 version seems to be more resource-hungry than 2006; I've noticed some slowdown when performing some tasks. It's always possible that a future update will address this, however. The spyware scan may be a bit TOO intensive; as noted in my review of that software, it flagged The Weather Channel's Desktop Weather application as being riddled with spyware, including keystroke loggers. To be safe, I removed that program from the computer, but since no other security program has ever flagged it, I wonder if that was a false-positive. Also, it can bombard you with alert boxes, which can be a bit of an annoyance over time; you can't really customize the alerts you wish to see to any great degree, it's almost an all-or-nothing deal. Still, these are mostly minor quibbles, and I would still highly recommend either the 2006 or 2007 version of this program to anyone with the system requirements to utilize it. You won't be sorry.
