"This is the worse software I've ever purchased"
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Cons
When purchased I was given outdated software. Trojans, bombarded my pc and of course no technical support. I was told to take it to the shop it wasn't their fault. $425 to repair damages. Couldn't register software I had already purchased and of course no tech support. I would not use this software if it were given to me, and it was by Best Buy. When I finally uninstalled it after getting out the shop (2months later) 3 trojans were on it that the software had not detected. Use at your own risk.

"Installation only works as Administrator, even if there is only one user."
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros
The antivirus software is the best.
Cons
Installing pccillin 15.3 in Vista runs into a problem: If you follow the instructions, you are asked to click on the installation program, but it fails with the message: "You have to be Administrator to run this program". I am the only user on a brand new HP 6405. Nowhere does it tell you that you have to right-click on the icon and "Run as Adminstrator". Then the installation proceeds. If you don't do this, the installer unpacks the files and stops. When you click on the unpacked programs, you get a variety of unrelated error messages from Vista.
The Vista user administration shows one user who is administrator. You cannot switch from regular user to administrator, or login as administrator.

"Not bad, but it is still standalone - you should try OfficeScan!!"
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros
As good as most of the others for what it does. Solid interface and good scanning
Cons
I have a small business and I prefered the OfficeScan managed service from download.com. This product cannot provide a managed service so if you want central manageability for several computers, maybe better with OfficeScan

"I have to give it 3.5 stars."
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros
Beleive me, I'd like to rate it higher and some time ago I would have. It's a full featured suite with everything you would expect and more built in. It has a very good, user friendly GUI, solid-anti virus and anti-spyware, anti spam. identity theft protection and it is a a good performer that updates often and automatically. "Trend Micro", unlike "Norton" provides excellent, free tech support no matter where you buy their software from. You can buy it at on line stores cheap and it's fully compatible with "Vista".
Cons
When all the suites modules are being used, it is a heavy resource user. "Trend Micro" had promised to address this issue and haven't done it yet. Maybe they are waiting for the 2008 version to address this problem.

"Nice Interface, Stable, Convinient"
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros
Very informative firewall (if thats what you like), easy and organized control center, light on system resources.
Cons
Doesn't have the best protection rating, and when I ran a webroot scan, I picked up a trojan I didn't even know was there. Firewall could use some more options to reduce popups for people that don't want to deal with it.

"One of the best suites out there, period"
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros
Detects virtually every piece of spyware, often in realtime, unlike Norton and McAfee which miss most malware unless doing a full scan. There are exceptions, but there aren't many. It works all the time, unlike Norton. It isn't a resource hog, unlike McAfee. And one license is good for 3 computers. It is a little over-zealous, but that is good.
Cons
2007 version is a small step back from the 2006 version. On some machines, the installation doesn't work. A simple un-install, reboot, and re-install fixes that problem. Still, it should work right the first time. Also, some legit programs get tagged as malware. When you tell the program to always ignore, it never does.

"Trend Micro: SO-SO"
Version: Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007
Pros
was ok, detected 50% of viruses and couldn't detect the other 50%, from the 50% of viruses detected, trend micro could only remove 25% of them.
the real time protection is the only good thing about this product, the scanning is not that good
Cons
can't detect and remove the latest viruses out there,
get kaspersky anti virus, it is rated very high, free, and it doesn't hog up memory
