Pros: scans fast , always updated , fairly light on cpu useage better then kaspersky anti virus 7.0 works great with spy sweeper 5.5
Cons: get errors if u have vista

Version: Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware 2008
Pros: Informing you of vital security updates that can put you in danger of Viruses if you don't keep up to date.
Cons: The reviews i read about this made it seem like the best AV around so i thought i'd get it a try.. then it went downhill. Installation was perfect, No errors. Then i scanned found nothing, Then i rebooted and it was lagging my computer so i went to uninstall and it said there was a 'fatal' error and i couldn't remove this program at all i had to delete the files all of its componets and registry files from my computer and i thought it was over, I went to install Nod32 as i trust this AV and it said that i still had Trend-micro STILL installed so i tried to install Avira, Same problem then Kaspersky...guess what.. same problem.. I had enough , Emailed Trend-mirco nearly three weeks ago they claim to reply in 48 hours and i've had nothing so i had to format, I run an extremely powerful PC with the latest Specs and it still lagged. It might be a good AV but i'd rather cut off my own testicles than install it again.

Pros: Can't say I have had any dramas and its been a week since I installed this product. I already have a firewall ( Comodo ) so I chose this for my antivirus and primary spyware protection.
Had to contact Tech Support when I run into a problem with scanning and within 24 hours I recieved a reply with a step by step set of instructions which resolved the problem. Tech Support even sent me an email asking if my problem was now resolved which I thought was impressive.
The protection seems to be great as I have run some real time spyware tests and it has caught everything. The program works well with Spyware Blaster without any conflicts noted.
All up I have to say that the product is an improvement from when I tried the product a few years ago. Back then, the interface was basic and the program just wasn't impressive in my eyes.
Now however I have to say that I rather like it and I like the fact it tells you exactly what cookies and spyware has been treated. Its also posssible to customize the program to your liking.
Cons: Would be nice if it would recognize Popcap's games as not being bad as I have had to turn off " Prevent unauthorized changes" while playing some games.
This is not a big drama however as you can always re-enable it when you stop playing and there may actually be a way to tell the product that it is not a bad program. I'm yet to explore all the options.
The first couple of updates take awhile to download on dialup but this is normal for just about any security product.

"Made a really good impression"
Pros: I had a Trojan on my PC because I clicked "OK" on that File-Secure AD that popped on my desktop (oops). I tried to remove it with AVG and PC-Doctor already installed on my machine but they couldn?t remove it nor quarantine it. I tried with SUPER Anti Spy, McAfee and Norton....same results. But Trend Micro could. Basically just because of this I will purchase the license after my 30-day trial offer is expired.
Cons: After downloading and upgrading Trend Micro takes about 320 Megs on my hard disk and requires a little bit more memory than others but for what it's worth, personally it's worth it!

"Awesome Antivirus Protection"
Pros: Quite happy on all counts. Installation went seamlessly, found and removed five troublesome intruders in the first full scan, reduced in junk mail and unwanted messages, and support services response time was can be measured in minutes.
Cons: Wish it had a firewall built in for the same price, but I guess that's why there's step-up products. Need to try them out too.
