i liked that it picked up spyware (grokster) that other antispyware programs missed. the scan is fairly quick. i had no problems removing spyware. easy to use interface.
Cons
in my case, it didn't prevent the installation of the spyware it picked up during scanning, but it may have been picked up from p2p.

I have an arsenal of antispyware apps, and so I thought my machine was clean.
The Venus Spy Trap offers solid real time protection also, and it has already come in handy a few times.
I have only been evaluating this for a week now, and so far I am very impressed. If it keeps it up I am going to buy it.
Cons
The Spy Trap monitors can be a little heavy on CPU usage, but only for brief periods, and so I think it is worth it.
The scanner/remover alone is worth the price anyway.

First and foremost this program comes from a highly respected company, but you already knew that right? The interface is fresh, easy to navigate and simple enough for ANYONE to use.
The Venus Spy Trap feature provides active system protection and actually explains all changes in detail so your not left wondering if a change was good or bad and if you should approve it or deny it. It comes bundled with CWShredder and does a great job erasing your tracks.

I found in TMAS the perfect balance of performance & effectiveness, very unobtrusive for my system plus ease of use. Other antispyware products I've tried before turned my rocket P4 2.6ghz in a turtle.
Cons
Interface is simple, I'd like it future versions a little more "polished".

I have been using this product for a couple months now. I didn't want to jump the gun soI waited a few months to see if I were still impressed. Even more now, for me, Tren Micro has the best and fasted,anti spYware. It got CoolWebsearch in the "Quickscan" Where as Spyware doctor missed it and Spysweeper had to be set for the longest scan to see this Pain in the but Spyware.Very simple interface. Makes perfect sense set ups. I use trend micro now as my top anti spyware with my Kaspersky Security Suite, I go where I want with freedom, while trend micro works in silence with no obstructions also!

I've been a happy owner of my Spwseeper for about three years now. I also purchased and trust the spyware doctor While Pc tools and the superior Webroot (spysweeper)have been spending the most money on adds comparing Johnsons, THis Gem By Trend Micro has humbly slipped right in without abusing advertisments as the other two dogs.
