For a thorough and clear answer to the eternal question of where all the space on your new disk went, consult TreeSize Professional. The interface allows you to easily find and delete files that waste space. TreeSize Professional analyzed disk usage quickly in our tests. You can analyze any folder by right-clicking it and choosing the Context Menu command. It displays files and folders both as graphs and as detailed lists. In Visual mode, you can choose between pie and bar graphs, as well as change colors for better legibility. The Detailed view lets you see statistics by user and file type. You can limit the scan to files created in the past however-many days. The program saves results in XML, HTML, and Excel formats, and the extensive functionality makes TreeSize Professional attractive for system administrators.Publisher's description
From JAM Software GmbH :TreeSize Professional is a hard disk space manager with an intuitive interface. It displays complete information about your drives and folders, including size, allocated and wasted space, the number of files, and last access date. It will also find old, big, and temporary files on your hard disks. You can print detailed reports or export the collected data to a Microsoft Excel workbook or a text file. TreeSize Professional can be started from the contextual menu of every folder or drive. Version 2.4 now adds the ability to scan folders to which the current user doesn't have access to and supports NTFS file based compression, HTML export, and more.<p><b>Note:</b> In this shareware version, a reminder screen will appear after 21 days. The cost to register is $30. Click <a href="http://www.jam-software.com/pics/ss2.gif">here</a> to see a screenshot.Developer Changes:TreeSize tells you where precious disk space has gone to. It can be started from the context menu of a folder or drive and shows you the size of this folder, including its subfolders. Each folder can be expanded in Explorer-like style to see the size of its subfolders. Scanning is done in a thread, so you can already see results while TreeSize is working. The results can be printed in a report.
