Cons
one of the reports didn't print correctly, but I just pasted a screen shot into word to get around it

If you're trying to find duplicate files, this is NOT the tool for you.
Cons
Tried to use it on my 1 terabyte external drive and it froze. Tried 3 times, no luck. Computer is less than 6 months old. Used a trial version of another application that was wonderful. Can't remember what it was otherwise I'd pay for the other one.
Summary
Seems to freeze up with large volumns of data. (1 terabyte).

Pros
Very quickly will show where all of the data on a drive is located. Newest version very stable. Network drives can be scanned if you can map a drive to the location.
Cons
I have used it for 3 years and have not see any negatives. Some of the earlier versions had some stability issues, but the current versions are very good.
Summary
As a field service tech I often am required to discover why a customer's drive is full and where the data is located. This was really a problem when the drives were smaller. This is not such a problem with new systems now since everyone has huge hard drives, but it is still good to know at times.
Previous to using this program I would have to go through individual folders and try to determine what was filling up the drive - very tedious and time consuming. My first use of the program was for a small local city government office. Over a period of several months their IT tech could not figure out why the city council chambers computer (used to record meetings) was full and so they had to record the meetings with a handheld tape recorder. In 30 minutes I had determined and eliminated the problem.
I have seen other programs that will do this but none with the same features and none that can do it over the network with other computers. -

not the cheapest but worth every penny.

Helps you see whats taking up all the space, now what to do with all that info? Some is obvious, some needs further research to see if you need to keep it...very good though as i was unable to accomplish this anywhere in windows.

Pros
Scan results are clearly visualized (+can be exported), many customizable settings, especially in the flexible file search.
Had so many image and audio files on my pc - partly duplicated.
Just a few clicks, TreeSize helped me find these space hogs!Cons
