the graphics are brilliant,and has support for all shader models(nice touch) and even though i have just a modest 7600gt i can run this game at 1280x1024 and 16 x antianilising and max antistrpoic filtering giving me a average frame rate of 55fps
i dicovered this using the built in "benchmark" utility
but the most exciting part of this game is the cost..nothing,,so i must take my hat of to focus interactive for making this amazing game avalible to us at no cost,so from all us cnet users "thanks"

Graphics look great, music is awesome.
Cons
Does not support Saitek keyboards and various mice without disabling the drivers for those items. Extremely frustrating to get working. I have tried 3 game pads (not Xbox 360 one), two mice and of course my saitek keyboard is still not working. HORRIBLE support for input devices. I removed the program and will never install it again.

Very cumtomisable craphics for the best performance. Over 1000 tracks to play on, 65 of them offline. Multiplayer up to... well, I haven't checked that yet, but I played with 118 players one time... Customise your car, paint it, stickers, everything, even the horn (WARNING: FOR PEOPLE WITH PROBLEMS WHEN LAUGHING, BE AWARE THAT CUSTOMISING THE HORN CAN BE RATHER FUNNY :D)

Cons
Can get laggy with many players on the screen at the same time, but you can "tell" the game to only show a number of cars on the screen at the same time, so that sorta' evens out. You can get frustrated, especially when playing offline, since you play against a computer, and when you loose, you may get cranky for loosing against a computer over and over again.
