Version: TouchpadPal 1.1
Pros

Cons
Wish it was a permanent on/off control, not a recurring event.

"works for me"
Version: TouchpadPal 1.1
Pros
Does what is says. My incidental wipes of my touch pad on my Windows 7 machine don't make my cursor jump to some random crazy place (often taking chunks of text with it).
Cons
none so far

"This product has worked well with in the scope."
Version: TouchpadPal 1.1
Pros
Works very well with writing software.
Cons
Other areas such as data entry on this page, the product doesn't work as well as it does on writing software.
Summary
Excellent product that works.

"great in theory, not so well in practice"
Version: TouchpadPal 1.1
Pros
At least, I didn't waste my money on this.
Cons
My Acer Aspire 7736Z-4088 suffers from an overly sensitive touch pad. Unfortunately, Touchpadpal v1.1 stopped very few accidently clicks and would sometimes even register a 'blocked click" when I hadn't typed for several minutes.
Summary
Touchpadpal (TPP) is a great idea but still needs a lot of work to be functional. See my comments in 'Con'. It might be helpful if TPP allowed the user to see a debug stream as to why the Touchpad Pal program worked or didn't. Configurable settings may be helpful in future versions as well.

"Not helpful"
Version: TouchpadPal 1.1
Pros
Did not install a virus
Cons
It was not helpful. Accidental touches of touchpad usually interrupted typing even with TouchpadPal (supposedly) working. Waste of time.

"Does what it says it will do"
Version: TouchpadPal 1.1
Pros
This program has eliminated this problem. Takes a very small amount of space and doesn't slow the computer down at all.
Cons
None so far
Summary
Prior to installing this program my netbook caused me great frustration when typing emails. I would write several paragraphs and then accidentally hit the touchpad and the whole thing would get erased.
