Version: Total Recorder Standard Edition 6.1
Pros: I had a different product I was happy with, but I got a new computer and it didn't have a recording level (I think this was an attempt by the makers to reduce piracy) and my previous programme didn't work anymore.
This doesn't require the recording level and actually works better.. gives a better quality recording than my old programme.
Very happy with this.. well worth the $17 or whatever it was.
Cons: None that I've found.

"Records mp3 from internet or line-in with simple configuration."
Pros: download to use in 5 minutes; eval version records with only limitation of beeping every few minutes; Affordable (17.95). Licensing takes only a few minutes to remove evaluation beep. Small footprint. Quickly and easily transfers files from internet/line-in to disk for copying to mp3 player. Tried blaze media pro before this and Blaze was difficult to setup and eventually muted my sound system on 1 pc. Still trying to get the sound back from the Blaze disaster.
Cons: none.

"Really useful, versatile and... WORKING! :)"
Pros: It let me get sound from any source (hw and software) without any quality loss! Really the best one I tried until now!
Cons: Just a point. It would be useful to have an option to eliminate the silence when streaming freeze some seconds, so it would not have any silence in the resulting file.

"Easy, works well, good value"
Pros: Easy to install - small .exe file to download, then double click to launch set up wizard. Cut and paste registration key from the confirmation email which was received immediately. A few tests fiddling with the volumes and I had it recording high quality MP3s from internet broadcasts, within 10 minutes - and that's on a 5 year old Dell, and I'm no expert on audio technology. Nice piece of software

Pros: Es facil de utilizar, buen precio y produce buenos resultados bajando audios de Internet. Me ha servido mucho para bajar varias conferencias.
Cons: Deberia venir en idioma Espaņol.
Le Edicion Standard deberia disponer de la opcion de apagar el PC (shutdown) al terminar la grabacion. Me toco bajar un programa gratuito para esta funcionalidad.
Es un poco dispendioso mientras se aprende sobre la configuracion, ajuste de parametros y niveles de Audio. Algunas veces en un poco dificil sincronizar el inicio de la grabacion en el punto que se requiere (no necesariamente desde el comienzo). A pesar de todo esto me siento a gusto con los resultados de TOTAL RECODER, aunque puede ser mejorable. Aclaraciones al plazas.jaime@gmail.com
