"Works fine (even in VMWare Fusion on a Mac)"
Version: TortoiseSVN (32-bit) 1.7.3
Pros
Shows what happened in Subversion in a much easier-to-understand (and often graphical) format.
Cons
Not the easiest to figure out how to see what you want to.
Summary
Someone else complained it didn't work in VMWare. I'm using it on OS-X Snow Leopard with VMWare Fusion 3.0 and XP Pro, and it works just fine installed on XP Pro; no problems at all.

"Gets the job done but is sometimes slow."
Version: TortoiseSVN (32-bit) 1.4.7.11792
Pros
TortoiseSVN is pretty easy to use. There are plenty of options in the context menu.
Cons
There are processes that seem to run at random times (even when I'm not using SVN) which take up a lot of system resources.

"Will not install in VM-ware"
Version: TortoiseSVN (32-bit) 1.4.7.11792
Cons
When I try to install this application in a Windows XP VM-ware machine (Server 1.0.3) I get the error "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor." :-(.
