i was looking for a program that would allow me to view the date and time, w/o having to refer to the window system tray all the time (since i have my taskbar on auto-hide). expected the program to have ads, etc, as is common w/freeware; or just a cheesy, ugly program - but surprised that it was more than functional - could view time as analog or digital, & date in any format. also customize the size, from full screen, to tiny & super tiny. much better than what i thought i could find out there. good job.

MrPete sez: Topmost Clock is a high quality program and itÂ’s free. ThatÂ’s a difficult combo to beat. I highly recommend it. After two days running on my Win2K system there has been nary a problem. Now, itÂ’s just a clock ... thereÂ’s not a zillion features. But thatÂ’s exactly what IÂ’m looking for. I guess that the folks at softdemon.com have released this to give the world an idea of the quality of the other programs that they create. They should be quite good. They offer an alarm clock with a zillion features: Attache Transparent Clock. It does NTP, plays MP3s, opens or closes applications, etc. My guess is that Topmost Clock is a rather scaled back version of that program. Topmost Clock runs in your system tray (as an icon) and is configurable by right click to show on your desktop (always on top) one or both of an analog or a digital clock. All of the following are configurable: shape, size, font, show seconds, show date, text format. I have it displaying a 24 hr text clock right above my system tray and IÂ’ve removed the M$ clock from the tray. It took some time for me to find the font and size of text that I liked. IÂ’m using the symbol font with a size of tiny. It would be nice if the trying out of new fonts/size combos was a little easier, but what the heck, itÂ’s free.

I would pay for this! but it`s FREE!! It`s excellent in every way! You can change it`s size shape etc to suit you.It as every thing you need without being in the way. I have tried every desktop clock on download.com. (I hate the crappy desktop clock from windows)This is transparant with a proper clock face (big hand small hand & minute hand. THIS IS THE DADDY!

It's the best freeware I have ever get, It's FREE, and It's have loads of Function, Changing Colour, Fonts, Size, and it will always stay on-top your Desktop with time in seconds, not just minute, plus the date. It's a must download.
