Summary
This ringtone maker is very nice as far as looks go, but as far as using it, it down-wright sucks! When I tried to make a ringtone I instantly realized its biggest problem. You can't control specifically where it starts. Say I wanted a ringtone to start at 00:23:42 into the song because that's the perfect moment to start the ringtone. Well Ringtone Maker lacks this capability. All you can simply do is move your mouse very carefully over the 23 second area and hope for the best. also it lacks a make it 29 seconds option, which I have seen on other ringtone making programs, because a ringtone is 29 seconds long. Ringtone Maker again lacks in this capability. I would not recommend downloading this, just keep on looking.

My phone came with totally sucky ringtones. I mean it was like an embarassment whenever it rang in public. But I did not want to join some ripoff "Ringtone Service".
With Tone This I had great, head turning, ringtones 15 minutes after downloading the program!
Be creative, use your imagination and you will have people saying; "Is that YOUR phone??!! -

Really, I don't know what to say is good about this program, mainly because I didn't really bother testing it out. Upon installation and opening the program, I saw that it wasn't going to make it as easy for me as BitPim did, so I returned to BitPim.
Cons
See above. I didn't take the time to really explore this program when I saw it didn't seem to be as functional or easy to use as BitPim is. So I went back to my comfort zone.

after downloading and installing, i had the ringtone i wanted on my phone in about 1 minute. they send you a text message with the link or there is an option to save the new file to your computer as well. very impressed.

Editing tool is not the best

I used this tool just to get the cut files to my phone. I have Verizon and I have tried many different ways to send them to my enV Touch, and this one has the best by far sound quality. I would recommend editing them in Audacity and then sending them with ToneThis
