it does (eventually) make a song into a ringtone and you can use the whole song (if you like :)

you need a bluetooth / internet access / memory card to send the ringtone to your phone, and it was a little difficult to create the ringtone, and to figure out how to save it

my phone (the Rant from Sprint) wouldn't recognize the file as a ringtone...if i spent more time on it, or wanted to pay the fee for access to the internet, or gotten a bluetooth, i would have gotten it, but to me it just wasn't worth the time/$$, you can always record the song onto your phone by a video recorder or voice memo recorder and set it as your ring tone that way xD

The sound quality is terrible. Playback of the first mp3 did not even sound close to the artist. Stay away from this app till they fix that problem!
