"Almost As Good As Hertz' NeverLost"
Pros: Ease of route selection.
Cons: Unnecessary care needed with street names that contain compass directions.
Summary: This product needs more up-to-date-access to streets added even two years ago.
The internal battery is NOT particularly robust. Plan to use your vehicle accessory power outlet. read more -

Version: TomTom Home 2.7.2.598
Pros: Tom Tom has frequent updates and stays connected to my needs. It's the user community that makes this product number one in my eyes.
Cons: There are still some areas I travel that don't have updated roads, mostly real estate new developments.
Summary: I chose Tom Tom because of the user community. The GPS it self is easy to use and works well on "blind tests". (choosing a random location and seeing if you end up where you ask) I would like a "restore" function that actually allows me to restore ... read more
