"Great alternative to Word Press (Love It)"

    April 11, 2014  |   By webmakeriq

    Version: ToWeb 5.16

    Pros

Fast and Responsive with great support. Very easy to learn and navigate compared to other programs. I have produced many great websites with this program and they all work flawlessly.

    Cons

I have not found any yet outside of you are limited HTML editing of the source files but that is why I bought and use it so I don't have to write code.

    Summary

For anybody that wants to build one fast website that works on all devices with minimum learning curve, I would highly recommend.

    "Incompetent Programmers"

    March 31, 2014  |   By TwistedTwerp

    Version: ToWeb 5.16

    Pros

Fairly straight forward to use, when it works.

    Cons

Every time they update the software (Monthly or so) my websites all get deleted and I have to start over again. Don't buy the Paid Version, it's a rip off and a scam. Their programmers can't find their butts with both hands.

    Summary

Good for the suckers who pay for it and are stupid enough to put up with their lack of customer service.

    Updated on Apr 21, 2014

Well, yet another update and again I lost 9 websites, and their customer service is an autoresponder. I have tried getting help in several different languages, and they don't get, I always receive an autoresponder response with suggestions that don't work. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE!!!

    "Not useful"

    January 13, 2014  |   By msgogeke

    Version: ToWeb 5.12

    Pros

Good for someone who doesn't want to deal at all with HTML coding

    Cons

<u>No money back guarantee</u>; didn't ever even use the license and ToWeb states they issued so there is no way to give money back. I have had to cancel a license before and this has never been an issue.

No way to edit HTML code that I could find.

    Summary

I bought this for a friend who is busy running a coffee shop and wanted a website with e-commerce option. I bought the e-commerce license and was very disappointed. With so little control through this site the only useful e-commerce was the PayPal button which I could have easily set up on my own. We have had success with a much better option and ability to tie in my friend's existing credit card processing services.

"User for years and it just gets better!"

    January 17, 2012  |   By drnstvns

    Version: ToWeb 4.1.0.612

    Pros

Sick of being held hostage by my web master I sat out to create my site myself but had no idea how. Trust me when I tell you I tried every website software product these is. Lauyan is the ONLY one that is easy to use but delivers professional results. The rest are easy but produce flat, static amateur results or if they deliver professional results are so complicated you might as well learn html coding.
ToWeb not only builds your site but works as your FTP agent and uploads and publishes your site as well. Everything is completely customizable and you can include html, videos, pictures, flash, shopping carts, e-commerce, it will handle your php mail protocol for you (if your hosts allows it)and auto saves everything you do.
I am now building sites for clients! I have used ToWeb for dog groomers & purse wholesalers & nightclubs & individual artists wanting to sell their goods on line. Trust me, I've done the looking around and this is the one that delivers on every single point.

    Cons

The included templates are God awful but before I was comfortable enough to start from nothing I would start with a template that had a feel I liked and then just customize the h*ll out of it.
Can take a while to "get it." Not because its hard but because it has a step by step process that isn't common but like riding a bike or learning math, once it clicks--you GET it. Then you are home free.

    Summary

Have used this product for over 5 years and made more than a dozen websites with it and have never had something I wanted in a site and couldn't configure ToWeb to accommodate. The ONLY software I have ever used where I do not have a complaint about something. And over time it doesn't get "buggy" and there aren't a million updates to always download and come to think of it, I'm not sure I have ever gotten any email from them except the one with my license and when they upgraded from Vers 2 to 3 and from 3 to 4. Can you imagine? A company not sending you weekly emails to buy, upgrade or update their products. Completely satisfied customer.

"Best website design application I have ever used"

    September 16, 2009  |   By Incognito60

    Version: ToWeb 3.0.2.558

    Pros

Simple to use with heaps of options and backup support. Able to produce quality websites quickly. Produce websites just by mouse clicks or customize to any sophistication.Has all the feature of apps three times the cost.

    Cons

First time user can waste a lot of time using the auto generate color schemes.

    Summary

I love this program for its ease of use to maintain my website.I can update and change things quickly and send to server with ease. I love the feature that allows you to see the whole website and what the changes look like in your browser before uploading to the server.

"It does what it says it will do and does it well."

    June 1, 2009  |   By Bob McIntosh

    Version: ToWeb 2.8.0.536

    Pros

While ToWeb is not necessarily for the rank beginner it is well suited computer users who do not want to become programmers. It provides point and click generation of simple web sites.
Priced below it's true value! A bargain for what it does.

    Cons

Help screens and such are limited and the English grammar is poor. I was not impressed with the web help so far but have not needed it that much.
It is NOT a do all fix all power house.

    Summary

ToWeb allowed me a casual user, to design three web sites in less than three hours a site from scratch.
I found the program well laid out, each icon at the top of the page is a step in the design process. You are led from one to the other until the web site is ready to publish. Testing is as easy as clicking the big orange button.
Retracing your steps as you learn is also very easy allowing correction on the fly.
Publishing to web was far better than I have experienced so far with much costlier programs.
For simple needs this program is the best I have tried so far.
Simple may be a disservice, I have music and contact forms on my first web site that work! Photo gallery pages are a snap to set up.
I paid hard money for it that should say enough.

"For the absolute beginner it is the best"

    May 7, 2009  |   By Bob McIntosh

    Version: ToWeb 1.5.3.476

    Pros

I admit I am not the smartest egg in the nest but I put up a 4 page site in an hour after failing to do so in FrontPage 2003 and NteObjects 11 and I have books for both.
TwoWeb was up and running with out a book.
    It's not perfect but works.

    Cons

Limited art work, but that may be because I am using the free version.
Company web site is vague in how to get answers.
They need a better translation into English(small con I admit)

    Summary

I am buying this product next budget nuff said.

"Great program for those who don't want 2 deal with HTML"

    October 15, 2008  |   By Jan Marie56

    Version: ToWeb 2.63

    Pros

Many choices in which to make a very nice, truly customized website.

    Cons

If I haven't overlooked it, there is no built-in process for creating a guestbook, a newsletter, or flash animation.

    Summary

I tried the free version for a week and was hooked! If ads on the page and a watermark on a photo don't bother you the free version works well as far as for a personal website is concerned. I just purchased the professional version at a very competetive price in relationship to other software with similar capabilities. The software is from a foreign (to the USA) country but I paid in the wee hours of the morning and received FAST delivery of the product's purchased licensing code (within a matter of minutes.) I was so very pleased with my dealing with "Lauyan" (the maker of TOWeb.) I am even more pleased with the software (except for it lacking the newsletter, guestbook, and flash creation capabilities.)
