"More than Expected Results.."
Version: To-Do DeskList 1.4
Pros
V Easy to Use
Good Looks
Reminders/schedulers/priorities included
Works very silently in the backgroundCons
Occupies more space on desktop
Icons hide behind it and cannot be opened
Not many customizing options to move or adjust the size, list/icon mode, etc.Summary
The software is much more than expected from a free software. i was looking for such a thing from days n at last i found one free. Unbelievable. The only feature missing that i expected was to be able to add a deadline to a task and as the deadline nears, the color or priority gets adjusted automatically based on some set criteria..
Overall 8.5/10 -
"Disappointed in the amount of todos shown..."
Version: To-Do DeskList 1.4
Pros
I liked the availability of the program..Memory resident and at hand.
Cons
Each leaf shows only one item... Hard to put together priorities from individual leafs.
Summary
I believe that this program could be made better by making it more of a list rather than independent leafs

"Simple program for simple tasks"
Version: To-Do DeskList 1.4
Pros
Nice mouse driven commands - reminder is helpful. easy to edit and delete
Cons
Takes up a little to much desktop space when opened. Would prefer one size that I could click thru to see all the 2-dos.
Summary
Nice freeware. For a more full-featured program, I would use Notes that comes bundled with MS Office.

There are no expectations that this product does not meet for me
Summary
This product really helps me organize all of my work tasks. While on a call take-aways are a common thing and I can enter them into this product right away and not forget about them. This really helps me stay on task and focused. I have reccommended this product to others already.

"Just what I've wanted!!!"
Version: To-Do DeskList 1.3
Pros
Very easy to use. Not complex. User-friedly. Can customize skin and font size.
Cons
The cusomized skin isn't woking well for me. But I'm just sticking to the ones that are already available.
Summary
It's like a post-it note on your desktop. The boxes don't take up any of your taskbar (like when you open a new program). And you can customize it to appear on the right side, left side, top, down, etc. This is exactly what I've wanted and I love it. And best of all, its free!!
I highly reccomend it if you are not looking for something too difficult. Its an easy way to remind yourself on everyday, simple, and forgetful tasks. -
"Brilliant, just what I needed"
Version: To-Do DeskList 1.3
Pros
Simple and very effective. Not a window of lines like all the others. Not too complex. Much of it can be configured to your liking. Good help section. Totally free!
Cons
Customised fonts & colours doesn't work for me - when I try and set what I would like, I only get the default font and the dark colour. But it's only a minor thing.
Summary
Each To-Do you make appears in a little box up the side of your desktop, sorted into high priority at the top, down to low priority at the base. You can edit them, view notes you add, & they go in one click when you've done with them. Much of it can be configured - change skins, change size of the boxes, choose whether to have it display at startup or not, and so on.
Forgot to mention, you can also set it as a Reminder as well. After just a few days use, I am finding that To-Do DekList is really helping me act upon my priorities.
