"I really like this basic easy to use software"
Version: TinyWebRadio 2.3
Pros
You can fairly easily add your own url internet radio links. It worked well for me on an older system still running Windows 2000. It includes an equalizer. Great option for older PC / laptops for your garage, balcony or basement Web radios.
Cons
I did not use any of the pre-installed links. Not really my style nor did they seem to work. Sometimes the program seems to lock up.
Summary
As long as you are using the Tiny Radio for your personal favorites it is really nice. Along with the ability to add your own stations it even has six preset buttons which can be set to your liking. All in all a very nice piece of software.

"Not what I was looking for."
Version: TinyWebRadio 2.3
Pros
Easy to use.
Cons
Inability to program a regular daily program that's several hours long.
Summary
I need to schedule a regular daily recording of talk radio. This is targeted to a music aficionado. The descriptions do not make it clear its intended use or limitations.

"Excellent small web radio player"
Version: TinyWebRadio 2.3
Pros
No install required (unzip & use).
Light on system resources.
Can auto make favorites based on SHoutcast listings.
Allows presets and shortcuts to them.Cons
Doesn't allow for favorites to be edited or organized. (Big minus)
No Mac version. (Please, devs, would you kindly make a Mac version?)Summary
Finds all the shoutcast and other webstreams, plays them well, does it without bogging down the system.
Simple, good all round.
What's not to love?!
Have quit using WinAmp because of this. -
"Never installed properly, doesn't work"
Version: TinyWebRadio 2.3
Pros
Who knows?
Cons
It installed a folder, with a bunch of stuff in it but none which would load any program whatsoever. I tried twice with two different versions and it failed to load beyond installing a useless folder.
Summary
It failed to install and load properly on my Windows XP system.

"Nice and easy (where have I heard that before?)"
Version: TinyWebRadio 2.3
Pros
GUI has an Atari-like feel, kinda retro, runs as an EXE, no need for instructions. I like small, efficient, unobtrusive utilities which do what they are asked of and little else.
Cons
It doesn't do my taxes for me and wash my car...wait, it also doesn't fulfill my deepest inner desires - yeah, that's the cons...
Summary
This is nothing more than it needs to be for being able to listen to internet radio. It has a simple and efficient GUI, a nice clean look, minimizes to and resides in the system tray, runs as an EXE with NO INSTALLATION, can run multiple instances, and is extremely easy to use. There is really no need for instructions, as it is intuitive. Copy a URL from a browser and when you click File, Open URL, the URL is already pasted in.
If you want a small and effective player that does what it is supposed to, does it with simplicity, and actually has some nice additional features, all at a price that can't be beat, then this is your player. I needed a .pls player quickly and this fit the bill. Listening to a Polish Smooth Jazz radio station (http://94.23.95.213:8034/listen.pls) right now, 192Kbps, and it sounds great. Kudos go to the programmer.
