Messing with time is fun. Freezing time and stealing the enemy's weapons or shooting them and see the blood spurt but freeze in midair is really cool. What's even better is when after you killed a whole squad while time is frozen then unfreeze time and the bodies will drop all at once, as if an invisible stalker took the life out of them.
Very nice particle effects.
Cons
Graphics hog. With a 6600GT, I can play this game very well at 800x600 with low details. Any higher and video latency will become an annoyance. High settings are probably designed for 6800, 7800, and x1800 (not sure about x800).
The bad thing about the video settings is that they don't give you alot of options to tweak. You only get to change Resolution, Details (low, medium, best), Vsync, and AA in the settings. "Details" changes the amount of shaders, lights, and possibly textures. You won't be able to tweak those settings individually.
Large 577.25mb download but short demo. You get into about 5 firefights and run into a couple of puzzles and it's over.

This demo is great if you're looking to run and gun. All the weapons have alternative firing modes and there are plenty of enemies to shoot. The demo is short but it's worth playing a few times because of the ability to play with time. As the game suggests when installing, you can stop time and steal the gun out of your enemy's hands. The ability to play with time allows you to do some creative things.
Cons
The AI is not great. Enemies constantly run into the open making them easy targets. I enjoy more realistic FPS's so the fast paced gameplay and gun blazing became boring.

I have an Athlon XP 3200+/1Gb PC3200/ATI 9800Pro 128, and I could't play it at 800x600 at minimum. Just too slow!!! They are nuts, the programmers think all we have dual processors or what?

It seems good in terms of gameplay,graphics,and sound.It has an original idea which is nice to see in a world of gta clones,ww2 shooters,and halo knock-offs

Lacks direction because it doesn't tell you what buttons do what.You'll have to read the read me file for button actions.
The graphics are choppy(ati x800gt).Short demo with no Multiplayer(i think).

Pros
So far, Timeshift's gameplay seems to have some original twists on the FPS genre. Although everyone's seen games involving time manipulation by now, Timeshift is the only one to use them for such original puzzle ideas. It also adds some great fun to messing around with your enemies, and it makes up for the lack of new and exciting weapons (you got your pistol, sniper rifle, flamethrower, and machinegun). The overall graphics look great, with pretty large environments taking use of HDR lighting. The explosion and fire effects simply look awesome.
Cons
-The sound effects are pretty good, but the voice acting can be terrible
-Lots of bland textures in the environments when looking up close (which shouldn't be much of a surprise I guess)
-the never-ending-constantly-respawning enemies! It's time that these things were put to an end... it's impossible to explore the courtyard at the end, because enemies will continue to show up in waves of two no matter what you do!
