"Poor performance ruins good idea"
Version: Times 1.1

The idea of an alternative news-paper-like gui is really good.
But the poor performance makes the otherwise fine application annoying.
I an intuitive way of ordering the feeds added to individual placeholders of pages. -
"Nice interface, no problems so far"

I got this application as a bonus with a MacHeist bundle. I'm impressed so far. It's elegant, intuitive and has been stable (at least on my system). -
"unstable at current version"
Version: Times 1.0.2
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I use version 1.0.5 of Times RSS reader.
The newspaper-like layout of this application is rather beautiful. I liked it, and bought it.
The performance Times showed post purchase was very much unsatisfactory.
After a few uses, when I opened the application, it showed an empty page, which used be filled with RSS feeds of my choice. Times keeps wiping custom layouts of RSS feeds abruptly.
Though a well thought out application, poor performance and relapsing error renders Times into an annoying application.
I will definately use again when such time comes that Times becomes stable. But until then,
my rating for Times will remain very low.

"This is the way RSS should be!!"
Version: Times 1.0.2
Pros
Really pleased with this news reader. It presents the content in an easy to navigate and intuitive display with the ability to really feel like you can work with the content. Sliding between pages and flipping down articles to read the full story is so simple! I've deserted all email lists, netvibes, page flakes, other rss readers and merged all my news reading into this. Download - Buy - Read!
Cons
A possible future addition might be the ability to use a Spotlight style search feature to get articles mentioning a specfic topic etc.
