"Does what it needs to"
Version: Timer Utility 4.1
Pros
Allows multiple countdown timers. Can have multiple timers going at once. Has multiple alarm notifications
Cons
No major cons; Just some minor settings & behavior (that I had in FOB but aren't in TU).
Summary
Needed a replacement for FOB, and this does the trick!

"No longer free"
Version: Timer Utility 4.0.4
Pros
Good little utility.
Cons
My 3.x version auto upgraded to this newer paid version without letting me know that the newer version required payment. Fortunately, I was able to reinstall the earlier version I had.
Summary
It is pretty sleazy for a developer to use tactics like this to get longtime users to pay for an upgrade. If I had been aware before upgrading that this newer version was a paid upgrade, I probably would've paid the price. But since it did not, I am trashing this app.
Dirty tactics are not what I look for in a software developer, no matter how good the app! You've just lost a paying customer? -
"Tricking Users into Paid Upgrade"
Version: Timer Utility 4.0.2
Pros
Version 3.5.4 was simple and free.
Cons
They upgraded version 3 JUST to add a nag screen to get you to upgrade to the paid version 4.
Summary
The paid version, while cheap is more complex (adding time tracking) and a second window. Luckily I found a copy of version 3.5.4 in my trash and was able to go back to the Free version without the nag screen.

Cons
I WISH I COULD MAKE IT SMALLER.
Summary
LOVE IT

"Widget would be perfect!"
Version: Timer Utility 3.5.3
Summary

Lovely little utility, works as advertised. I'll use and be very satisfied (5 stars) with it as it now is, but making it into a widget would make it, IMO, even handier. -
"Exactly what I needed"
Version: Timer Utility 3.3
Pros
It works perfect with my IMAC
Cons
Nothing so far
Summary
It is exactly what I was missing

"Nice update..."
Version: Timer Utility 3.1
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
D/l is smaller, and app now leaves a smaller footprint, launches instantly on initial start, and uses less RAM, virtual RAM, and CPU cycles than did v 2.3.2.
All in all, one of the most responsive updates I've ever seen, and to a highly functional and extremely useful app, to boot.
