"Does what it says on the can !"

Nice little utility that comes in very handy if you have the very specific need of being able to insert the time or date into another document or program etc

I had two needs to satisfy: first was to be able to insert a current date and time into a document or text field using a keyboard shortcut, and the other was to use the same method to insert static (unchanging) text selections. This program absolutely fulfilled the first requirement, even allowing custom configuration of the date and time format in a simple text file.
Cons
Unfortunately, the software I found to perform the other task of inserting text passages using keyboard shortcuts was also able to insert the current date and time, thereby making this program redundant. If one's sole goal is to be able to quickly and easily insert time and date information into any document or webpage, this is absolutely the software to choose. While the user interface lacks finesse, it gets the job done - and for the price, it can't be beat.
