Version: TimeLeft 3.36
"Many features but really ugly"
Pros: Has a lot of options and many configurable features. Skinnable. It's possible to configure several minimalistic stay-on-top stopwatches to time my work on different projects. Possible to have a stopwatch start from a preset value, not just zero.
Cons: TimeLeft only comes with ugly skins. Tray clock replacement looks unprofessional. Somewhat cluttered interface. Some things not configurable, like the location of the start/stop and reset timer buttons.
Summary: The biggest problem with skinnable software is that there are so few good professional looking skins available and so many ugly ones. TimeLeft comes with a plentitude of skins to choose from, but all of them are amateurish and ugly. I had hoped the Windows tray clock replacement would blend in and look just like the original clock, only more configurable, but no. Its just a position-locked stay-on-top window that covers the windows clock and the default skin has a border and a big, bold and clumsy looking font. If they could only work on streamlining and polishing the interface a bit more, I guess this app could be a killer. (Yes, I'm sensitive about how software "looks and feels"...)

Regarding the ugly skins.. I totally agree! It's almost like everytime I see a skin like these, I have to wonder who in the world thought they good!
