Version: ThumbsPlus Pro 7.0 SP2 Build 2251
"Best photo organiser for my use"
Pros: Works reliably and fast with large image collections. I has a very good EXIF and IPTC editor and full colour management support. Works equally well with directory based and tag based image storage. Integrates well with photoshop and other programs.
Cons: Does not appear to take advantage of multiple CPU (cores) or GPU hardware accelration.
Summary: I have used Thumbnails Plus since 1999 when version 4 was released. Over the years it has been used to manage my collection of 12000+ photos without any problems. Although there are other photo organisers getting close I have not found any that fulfi... read more

"Continuous program prevention of startup."
Pros: Did not work correctly from installation - NO Pros.
Cons: Since the developer can not offer any helpful suggestions on how to correct this problem, stating 'it is a software issue' - I can not use the program to determine if it is worthwhile.
Summary: TRASH. 'Database error' at installation. Developer suggested reinstall - same issue. The 'Thumbs Plus Error Messages' suggestion in 'HELP" states I should do a 'File/Database/Repair' from the programs Main Menu - BUT SINCE THE 'Database Error' preven... read more
