This is the only "internet accelerator" that's ever done what it said it would do. Speeds are always above 5K/sec on my 56K modem nowadays....before it was around 4.5k/sec.
It may or maynot work for you. But it's well worth a try. -

Throttle excellerated my modem by 1 mb! I figured this program was a scam like other ones I've tried but it actually did work. It's amazing to see something like this truely deliver and it has. Time to go on p2p and test this puppy out :)

I thought this program would be a sham like the others I have seen but i am very impressed by this program. I had a cable connection speed of 1.19 kbps which is not bad but the slow downs were killer i tried throttle and set it for faster and my speed jumped to 2156.4 kbps which is another 1k upgrade I recomend this program to anyone who has trouble with ISP set speed this is a great product I am going to buy this program. I want to see the fastest setting.

Im on a 56k modem and befor I had Throttle I would dl (download) at about 2.3k/sec After I installed Throttle and used it faster setting I was dling at about 3k/sec it made a huge (for me) jump in speed. You can also have it so it will speed up your cable/xDSL/T1 or faster lines, and have it restore your settings befor you started useing Throttle.
