Version: ThreatFire AntiVirus Free Edition 3.5
"Great, But Slows Computer"
Cons: Would go from 4 stars to five stars if it slowed computer less.

I'm running this incredable piece of software on a Dell Latitude laptop w/ a 300Mhz PII Processor and 128MB EDO Memory running Windows 2000. Avast will slow down this laptop and AVG more so. Its probaly all the other junk on the computer. Same with the others who bash Norton for being memory heavy when Saint Ol' Kaspersky is 20 times worse.

It doesnt slow down the sys in any way great app....but be sure to use it along with a proper solid antivirus like kaspersky or symantec
