Publisher's description
From Stardock :Theme Manager is a program that ties into programs that customize your Windows desktop. It can change your wallpaper, icons, screensavers, boot screen, logon screen, visual style, and widgets. It does this by tying into the features that are already on your computer along with automatically linking to and downloading third-party programs from CNET Download.com to fulfill a requirement.

Version: Theme Manager 2.2
"A program NOT TO BE TRUSTED."
Pros: Wouldn't know, did not feel safe enough to keep/use it after my firewall went off (see cons).
Cons: My firewall (Zone Alarm Pro) alerted me to the program "attempting to inject code into explorer.exe". EXCUSE ME! The only types of "programs" that use code injections are MALWARE. ZAP may be a little on the paranoid side, but using a known sh**twarez -spreading tactic deserves to be lumped into that category.
But then, this is from the same Stardock people who have been selling the now warez version of Uplink.

Version: Theme Manager 2.2
"Useless unless you buy other software"
Pros: Makes it easy to interface with other programs that are used to change your windows look
Cons: If you're looking for a free utility to change the look of Windows, forget it. This program is useless unless you download other software that is NOT free. Essentially all it does is give you a way to interface with several programs such as WindowBlinds and Icon Packager. With OR without those, there's no point in downloading this! It's just a "lure" to get you to try other programs.
